Puzhen Tea|Golden Ink Gift Box

Introducing our innovative concept: “Crafting a Five-Sensory Tea Experience” emerges as a fitting approach to promote Oriental tea. It enables Puzhen Tea to concentrate solely on “tea” within a confined space. In the past, our 60-square-meter storefront demanded diverse managerial skills, yet as novices in entrepreneurship, we were strangers to the art of “business management.” Ironically, within the compact confines of a 5-square-meter department store counter, we found the opportunity to focus on designing the service flow for the “Five-Sensory Tea Experience.”

Our “Tea Bar” stands as the visual centerpiece; the meticulously crafted “Order Introduction” ensures each customer, guided by our store partners, comfortably places their tea order with delight. An open bar design allows waiting patrons to savor the aroma of tea blossoming as hot water meets the leaves in a moment of fragrant communion. With serene concentration, our tea artisans meticulously present the process of hand-brewing chilled tea in purple clay pots, offering customers a brief respite from the city`s bustle to savor moments of tranquility. Once brewed to perfection, our tea artisans offer a warm smile as they present a personal flask, inviting customers to relish the pure, natural sweetness within.

Continuing, we drew inspiration from the Japanese tea culture concept of “ichi-go ichi-e,” meaning “one time, one meeting.” While the “Five-Sensory Tea Experience” may sound simple, executing it flawlessly each time is far from easy. At that time, we explained the principle of “ichi-go ichi-e” to ourselves and every team member: the bond between individuals often occurs only once in a lifetime. Therefore, in the process of serving tea today, every aspect must be perfected. Puzhen Tea was fortunate to have a group of passionate individuals who, like us, cherish the connections between people. Thus, shortly after our establishment in Dunhua Eslite, we gradually gained recognition from many industry leaders and media outlets.

Now, we have finally grasped the concept of the “Permanent Revolution Of Tea,” the eternal evolution of tea. It was a great honor when Puzhen Tea was selected as the designated tea brand for the 50th Golden Horse Awards in 2013, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Golden Horse Film Festival. At this historically significant moment, we meticulously designed the “Golden Ink Gift Box” as the designated gift for over a thousand esteemed guests. When conceptualizing the design, our aim was to create understated luxury using the simplest elements. Therefore, we chose to continue the color scheme of the Golden Horse Awards` main visual – black and gold. We utilized black cardboard with gold foil stamping, deliberately highlighting the core concept of Puzhen Tea`s “hand-brewed purple clay pot.” The main visual of the gift box featured a gold foil stamped and embossed “purple clay pot,” accompanied by the phrase “Permanent Revolution Of Tea.” We hoped that at the intersection of eras, Oriental tea would successfully transform, allowing more people to savor its pure and natural sweetness.
