Picking Tea Leaves
At Puzhen Tea, we employ the standard upright picking method forharvesting tea leaves, which involves using the palm of the hand as a standard for picking length. The amino acid content in the core buds is higher, serving as the source of sweetness, while the second and third leaves contribute to the sweetness and aroma. Correct picking ensures a balance of aroma and flavor in the tea.
